Sustainable value-added chain

Every chain is as strong as its weakest link. This is why an integrated approach to sustainability is essential – from raw materials through to recycling. Another aspect: Hagleitner works continuously to optimise its own overall facility efficiency in all areas of production. For example: the distance from the plastic granulate to the finished dispenser is only 25 metres.

Systematic refills

Up to four times as much toilet paper fits on rolls made by Hagleitner. This reduces the transport volume and means that refilling is less frequent. The vacuumBAG has been awarded a gold medal at the International Exhibition of Inven tions in Geneva. Its packaging film is just a few micrometres thick. As it empties, the vacuumBAG contracts, resulting in a general decrease in waste volume.

Power supply

Hygiene dispensers offer three energy options: mains power, rechargeable battery and a recyclable energy unit. In 2020, Hagleitner was the first supplier in the industry to incorporate the rechargeable battery into its dispensers.

Recycling

The plastic core for the sanitary paper is recycled, and the outer shell of the energyBOX is too. Eco products come in one-litre bottles made from 100% recycled material.

Hagleitner dispensers and dosing units transmit digital data about the dispensed amount, fill level and servicing requirements. Those who are aware of what’s going on work efficiently.
