Personal data (“pD”) is information that can be assigned to an identified or directly or indirectly identifiable natural person.

Affected person is that natural person whose pD is processed.

Data processing is any handling of pD beginning with its collection, including the organization, changing, evaluation, requesting, transmission and saving, on through to its deletion.

In the course of registration, B2B customers (companies) also need to specify a contact person (first name and last name) who handles the registration and orders for the company.

In order to be able to execute the ordering process and make deliveries, we collect and save (for B2B customers of the specified contact person or the individual entrepreneur) first name, last name, company register number/date of birth, e-mail address, telephone number, user name, password, bank data (account number, etc.).

    (b)    Website

We do not process pD in order to evaluate your usage behavior on our website. Only data that is not suitable for identification of a natural person (“anonymous data”) is processed. We only use the information statistically and to improve the functionality of flows on the website. For more details about the cookies we use and our webtracking program, see points 9 and 11.

  3. Purpose of the data processing

The pD you have specified on registration in the Hagleitner-Keuco webshop is used in order to process and execute the order(s) placed. Since for the delivery of the order pD such as name and address is required, the processing of this data is indispensable for proper contract fulfillment. The specified pD will only be processed within the framework covered by the legal principles of data processing.

Your telephone number and e-mail address will be processed for the purpose of inquiries, confirmations with respect to the order placed as well as the de-livery, and with your consent, for the purpose of advertising and the presenta-tion of new and existing products already in the Hagleitner Hygiene Interna-tional product line.

After registration, you will receive personal access to your user account, which is protected by a password of the user’s choice. You can now edit and manage your pD in this customer account.

  4. Legal basis (statutory authorization)

For the data processing of pD in the course of registration and the order process in the Hagleitner-Keuco webshop, the statutory authorization for proper contract fulfillment comes from Art. 6 Para. 1 let b GDPR.

For data processing of pD in the course of sending our newsletter, statutory authorization comes from your consent declaration (Art. 6 Para. 1 let a GDPR).

  5. Duration of storage

We will not store your pD longer than required and permissible for fulfillment of our contractual and legal duties and defense against any liability claims or due to another legal justification.

  6. Your rights as affected person

    6.1 Information
You have the right to request confirmation whether and to what extent your pD is processed.

    6.2 Correction
If we process your pD incompletely or incorrectly, you can request its correc-tion or completion at any time. In addition, it is possible to access the pD of the specified contact person in your user account in the webshop and to cor-rect or delete it yourself. Furthermore, you can request the closing of your user account at any time; for the contact data, please see point 14.

    6.3 Deletion
You can request a deletion of your pD insofar as the purpose for which it was collected ceases to apply, there is illegal processing, the processing intervenes disproportionately in the protection interests to which you are entitled or the data processing relies on your consent and you have revoked this. To be noted here is that there can be other reasons opposing the immediate deletion of your pD, e.g. legal duties of retention or the pressing of legal claims, etc.

    6.4 Restriction
You have the right to restrict the processing if the correctness of the data is in dispute, the data processing is illegal, the data is no longer needed for the permissible purpose or an objection has been raised to the data processing.

    6.5 Objection
If we process your data to perform tasks that are in the public interest or if during the processing we invoke the necessary of preserving an interest to which we are entitled, you can object to this data processing insofar as there is a predominant protective interest for your pD. You can object to the sending of advertising at any time and without specifying reasons.

    6.6 Revocation
You have the right to revoke consent previously provided for the processing, whereby a revocation does not affect the legality of the processing done be-fore the revocation.

    6.7 Data transferability
You have the right to request of us that we make the pD you have provided available in a structured, common and machine-readable format insofar as we process the data based on your permission granted or to fulfill a contract and the processing is done using automated processes.

You have the right in case of a data privacy violation, to file a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority.

  7. Data security

For the protection of your pD, we have taken suitable technical and organizational measures (e.g. HTTPS encryption of our website, SSL certificate for our webshop) that protect your data, among other things, against loss, manipulation and unauthorized access. The measures taken are subject to regular checking and will be adjusted regularly to the state of technology. We will inform you immediately if there should be a violation of the protection of your pD, which may have consequences involving high risk to your rights and free-doms.

Therefore, we assume no liability of any kind for the disclosure of information based on errors we did not cause in data transmission and/or unauthorized ac-cess by third parties (e.g. hack attack on e-mail account or telephone, interception of faxes, etc.).

  8. Transmission of pD to third parties

To fulfill your order, it may be necessary to transmit your pD to third parties (e.g. IT service providers, payment service providers, tax accountants, cloud service providers, banks, collection agencies, lawyers, business auditors, website service providers and other service providers whom we use to perform our activities and to whom we make data available). A transmission of your pD is done exclusively based on applicable data privacy law, in particular for the fulfillment of our order or based on your prior consent.

Since we in the Hagleitner-Keuco webshop for B2B customers (entrepreneurs) also offer the payment type “purchase on account” and thus bear the risk of a payment default, for the fulfillment of such an order, we routinely obtain credit information from the business credit information bureau Creditreform Wirtschaftsauskunftei Kubicki KG, , Muthgasse 36-40, 1190 Vienna, FN 9948 f ("Creditreform"). In the course of this credit check, we transmit the company name (for sole proprietorships first and last name of the proprietor), company register number, VAT number, business address, e-mail address, telephone number to Creditreform.

Some of the above-mentioned recipients of your pD are outside of your country or process your pD there. Under some circumstances, the data privacy level in countries outside the EU and the EEA does not correspond to that in Austria. However, we only transmit pD to countries for which the EU Commis-sion has decided that they have an appropriate data privacy level or we take measures to ensure that all recipients have an appropriate data privacy level.

  9. Cookies

We use so-called “cookies” on the website for our webshop in order to make visiting our website attractive and enable the use of various functions. These are small text files that are stored on your end user device using the browser. Most of the cookies we use are deleted from your hard disk after the end of the browser session (“session cookies”). Other cookies remain on your com-puter and allow us to recognize your computer on your next visit to our web-site (“permanent cookies”). Therefore, for example, you do not need to re-enter your name and password for each new order. Session cookies we use are, e.g. “PHPSESSID” (this cookie prevents the unintentional double sending of form data for registration and prevents the sending of form data by an at-tacker) and “fe_typo_user.” This data processing is done for the purpose of simplifying the purchasing process and later contract handling. If you do not want this information collection by cookies, you can set your browser up so that the browser informs you about the setting of cookies and you can decide in individual cases whether or not you want to permit this. We note that if you deactivate cookies, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

  10. Web analytics

So that we can gain a better statistical evaluation of the website visitors, we use the services of Google Analytics.

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ( "Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, which are - as described under point 6 - text files that are saved on your computer and that allow analysis of the use of our website. The information generated by the cookie that is collected about you is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP anonymization is active on the website. Google uses this information at our request in order to evaluate your usage behavior on our website in order to compile reports about the website activities and in order to perform additional services associated with website usage and Internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the course of Google Analytics will not be combined with other Google data.

You can refuse the storage of cookies with an appropriate setting in your browser software; however, we point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all features of this website.

If you do not want the information collected by cookies and your usage behav-ior to be transmitted to Google and you want to prevent the processing of this data by Google, you can download and install the available browser plug-in us-ing the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

  11. Server log files

To optimize this website with respect to system performance, user friendliness and provision of useful information about our services, the provider of the website automatically collects and saves information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits to us automatically. Included in this are your Internet log address (IP address), browser and language setting, operating system, referrer URL, your Internet service provider and date/time.
